Privacy.

This website belongs to Billy Lynch, a sole trader trading as Lynch Property Inspections, based in Prescot. I am the controller of the details you send through it, which means I decide how they are used and I am responsible for looking after them.

You can contact me about anything on this page at info@newbuildsnags.com or on 07305 778 076.

Only what you type into it:

• your name and phone number, which the form needs so I can reply
• your email address, if you choose to give it
• the postcode, and the address or development name if you give it
• the kind of job, the property type and any extras you choose
• when you would like the inspection and any dates you suggest
• how you would like me to come back to you, and anything else you write

You do not have to use the form. You can ring, text or WhatsApp me instead. The text and WhatsApp buttons open your own apps, and what you send through them is covered by those services' own privacy terms.

To reply to you, give you a price, arrange the inspection and keep a record of what we agreed. Nothing else. I do not use your details for marketing, I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not sell or share them with anyone except Local Web Studio and the two services named below.

Under UK data protection law, the lawful basis is that you have asked me to do something for you before we agree the job. If you do not go on to book, I keep the enquiry for the period below because it is reasonable for me to be able to pick up where we left off if you come back to me.

When you send the form, your details go straight to my inbox by email. The website does not keep them in a database or anywhere else.

Two services handle them on the way, on my instructions and for no other purpose:

• Resend delivers the email to me, and the copy to you if you gave your email address. It keeps a delivery record for a short time.
• Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and basic technical details of each visit so it can deliver the pages and keep them secure.

Both are based in the United States. Transfers of your details to them from the UK are covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, the contract terms UK law approves for this.

Local Web Studio, who look after this website for me, also receive a copy of each request so they can check the form is working. They use it for nothing else.

I keep enquiries for 12 months from the last time we were in touch, then delete them. If you book an inspection, the booking becomes part of my business records, which I keep for as long as the law requires for tax and accounts.

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. It does not load anything from Google, Facebook or any advertiser. The fonts and images are served from the website itself.

You can ask me at any time:

• for a copy of the details I hold about you
• to correct anything that is wrong
• to delete your details
• to stop or limit how I use them
• to send them to you, or to someone else, in a format you can reuse
